What a wonderful addition to our Strathmore dining scene. Set amongst a bevy of cafes, ATHOS brings a unique and welcome twist on the classic dishes you expect to find at an all day cafe but with that welcome Greek slant. It cannot be faulted in any department.

Most delicious baked eggs dish I’ve ever tasted! Served with warmed focaccia type bread. And had a pot of Greek Mountain tea. Very satisfying. So many delicious items on menu. Will return again to try them when next in the area. Hospitality from the owners was noticeable - from shaking hands to having conversations with diners. Small venue with seating outdoors too.

Athos Deli Cafe really hits the spot! The poached fruit dessert with pomegranate is super fresh. The omelette is creamy and rich, and that flatbread is perfect for scooping it all up. Everything looks amazing and tastes even better. Definitely coming back for more! Big thanks to the lovely owners for their kindness and warm hospitality!

WOW! 10/10 come down to Athos for some of the best food you can get. The service provided by the whole team, especially Yianni and Susie made you feel like you were at yiayia’s house. I ordered the Harissa Baked Eggs while my boyfriend ordered the Goat Dish which was featured on the specials. The Goat was on par with what you would find in a tavern in Greece. It was melting off the bone, full of flavour and was presented beautifully. The Eggs were divine. Each bite left you wanting more! The bread served with it was delicious. Kudos to the chef! Service was amazing, friendliest people and great recommendations and explanation of the display and menu! Spoilt for choices here, the mains we had were the rabbit stew (served on some currant/raisin rice?) which complimented it SO well, and the goat with labneh and peas which was absolutely divine - the meat was so tender and falling off the bone!! The bread was also perfect to mop up all the sauce! We also had their beef dolmades (which was rolled by the owners mother!!) was also very tasty! Their coffee is also amazing, had no space for some dessert but will be back to try the other special menu items! Outdoor sitting available for your four legged friends too :)

Very tasty food, reasonably priced and absolutely lovely service. A great authentic home-style Greek alternative to a standard breakfast cafe, we will definitely come back!
